Volvo S90 and V90 Luxury Cars Get a Major Update
The Swedish automaker Volvo has officially confirmed that the 2024 model of its popular luxury SUVs, the S90 and V90, have made several key updates after their launch in September.
Notably, the latest generation vehicles boast an innovative "Wasp" digital plate based on the Vehicle Identification (VIN) system. This modular platform supports Over-the-air (OTA) updates, incorporating features from air suspension, electronic anti-roll damping systems to the advanced braking system of these luxury SUVs.
With enhanced maneuverability enabled by its updated "quadruped" capability and reduced turning radius, it improves safety during tight turns.
Powering the S90 and V90 are powerful engine choices, starting with a 216 kW rear-wheel drive model. Its 248 kW, 250 kW and 300 kW models come as well, which can transform into a highly capable all-wheel-drive version equipped with 579 kW for even more dynamic driving. With impressive specs boasting acceleration times of only 3.48 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h, it also offers impressive battery capabilities starting from 75 kWh and up to 100 kWh.
Volvo's new luxury SUV vehicles now boast enhanced safety features along with support for DC fast charging stations with a boost rate capable of replenishing the entire energy storage system within just 15 minutes. With improved power delivery, Volvo once again demonstrates its determination to put innovation first.
