Baojun 05 EV Makes Global Debut with Unveiling of Interior Images
A new electric vehicle (EV) from the Chinese manufacturer, Baojun, has been unveiled, offering a glimpse into its interior design and features. The Baojun 05 EV is set to enter mass production on March 25th.
Upon closer inspection of the interior, it becomes apparent that the car boasts an entirely new style, with sleek lines for the dashboard and rounded air vents creating an inviting ambiance. Additionally, an 8.8-inch all-digital instrument cluster has been integrated into the center console in front of the steering wheel, providing a more cohesive look.
In terms of amenities, the Baojun 05 EV will come equipped with DiLink 100 smart cabin technology—offering features like lane-keeping assist, remote parking, and more than two dozen intelligent driving assistants. Furthermore, the vehicle boasts a 12.8-inch floating infotainment screen; a 50-watt wireless charging plate on the center console; and refrigerated storage compartments at both front and rear seats to boost daily usability. Users can also control features using various remote interfaces such as ice tray interface or multi-media ice tray.
Moving onto exterior design, Baojun 05 EV showcases an innovative new visual language that harmonizes in a way of interconnected rings across the front bumper and features dual slotted projector lamps running vertically on both sides to distinguish it from other vehicles.
Other distinctive attributes of the exterior include a generous trunk area, expanding car storage space, LED rear units with intricate design patterns that create visual definition. Lastly, its chassis measures 4520 / 1860 x 1630 millimeters (L/W/H) overall and extends a total length of 2720 mm for stability.
Powering an all electric motor powered by the motor type named as TZ200XSAY from Baojun itself with an output of maximum power up to 140kW, coupled with lithium-iron phosphate battery packs. For high-speed, it features top speed 180km per hour and also a smart version called "di pilot" integrated together in this vehicle.
