The car is said to be designed under the guidance of renowned designer Claus, with an international team design unit composed of 915 experts from 31 countries. Upfront, it displays an enclosed front grille, complemented by a pronounced engine hood with multi-angled lines giving the impression of robustness.
A notable feature on this car is its integrated laser radar system located on the roof. This suggests that it will offer advanced driver assistance systems in higher trims.
In terms of design cues from the side view, the C798 exhibits a flatly sloping roofline that promises generous headroom inside. Features hidden door handles alongside low-drag tires enhance aerodynamic performance without detracting from passenger comfort. The rear section sports sleek and distinctive headlamps with split paneling for enhanced visibility.
Dimensions-wise, the car measures 4837/1920/1690mm in length, width, and height respectively, along with a wheelbase of 2905mm. Power comes from an inline-four-plug hybrid drivetrain using a 1.5-liter engine produced by the Longan Automobile Company Ltd., boasting a maximum output of 72 kilowatts.
