BEIJING, CHINA - BYD, a leading Chinese automaker, has released its October sales data, revealing a significant increase in vehicle sales.

According to the data, BYD sold 502,657 new vehicles in October, representing a year-on-year growth of 66.2%. This represents a notable improvement over September, when the company sold 419,426 new vehicles, with sales up by an annual 19.84%.

Looking at the breakdown of sales for individual brands:

  • BYD Dynasty and Ocean combined to sell 483,437 units, with a year-on-year growth rate of 66.9%.
  • BYD Equation sold 6,026 units.
  • BYD Terra sold 10,781 units.
  • BYD Ascend sold 282 units in overseas markets for the first time that month.
  • OVERSEAS MARKETS: Sold 31,192 vehicles in October
