New Pure Electric SUV from BYD to Hit the Market on March 25th

In a significant move, BYD announced its latest pure electric SUV, the Leica EV05, which will debut in the market on March 25th. The new model is expected to boost the brand's competitive edge with its advanced features and design.

The exterior of Leica EV05 features a fresh new design language, with a distinctive ring-shaped lighting element accompanying symmetrical dual-headlamps on both sides of the vehicle. Additionally, the pre-portioned hood enhances storage space, while the rear LED light bar carries an intricate internal structure.

Inside, Leica EV05 adopts a unique cabin style with clean and horizontal middle dashboard lines and round corner air vents providing an optimal interior atmosphere. An all-fluid monitor integrated into the steering column displays an 8.8-inch high-definition dashboard display providing a coherent visual experience.

The vehicle boasts advanced features such as DiLink 100 intelligent seat lounge (offering rapid autonomous driving, remote parking assistance and other functions). It is equipped with 12.8-inch detachable swivel screen on inside middle cabinet, a multi-functional control panel on the freezer for easy operation, smart phone app connection, voice assistant operations etc. The vehicle's specification provides users an efficient experience.

The dimensions of Leica EV05 are 4520mm x 1860mm x 1630mm. The driving force comes from the TY200XSAY model's DC motor producing a maximum of 140kW, paired with lithium-iron-phosphate battery packs and reaching a top speed of 180km/h.
