DFSK Enhances Brand Image in 2024, Sees Significant Growth
January 15, DFSK (Dongfeng Automobile) Corporation announced its official progress on enterprise branding promotion for 2024. The company reported significant growth in brand reputation and market share. Total sales of the automotive enterprise reached new heights, with domestic passenger cars reaching 1.37 million units, up by 34.3% compared to the same period last year; new energy vehicles reached 86,000 units year-over-year, growth of 64.4%; overseas exports reached 25,000 units, a growth rate of 8.2%.
Further announcements made by the company include ambitious targets for 2025: aiming to develop around 3 million passenger cars and challenging over 3.2 million units by the end of next year; new energy vehicles targetting over 100,000 high-quality models and overseas exports reaching 50,000 units.
Apart from the overall growth indicators, DFSK announced part of its new product roadmap for the upcoming year: introducing a total of seven brand-new passenger car models in the first half of this year alone. Furthermore, three commercial vehicles' new energy base models will be released to reinforce technological advancements on board, promising at least two "big singles" with sales exceeding 10,000 units annually.
In addition, it was reported that during 2024, DFSK enhanced construction capacities worldwide by implementing a series of innovative centers such as the Global Innovation Center and Global Design Center. In-house R&D investment maintained around an 8% threshold, culminating in the discovery of over 2,440 patents.
Moving forward for 2025, DFSK plans to execute "Technological Leap 3.0", accelerating the development of personal intelligence and technological innovation infrastructure. Key achievements include enhancing digital vehicle propulsion systems such as the MH2.0T, PHREV, Super High-Speed Motor, and an 800V system, as well as advancements in AI technology which cover from autonomous driving to model-based intelligent vehicle control platforms.
Meanwhile, a major focus of DFSK's efforts for next year involves improving the complete user experience. The corporation plans to leverage profound insights gathered regarding consumer preferences, including trends on vehicle appearances and interiors, making incremental improvements across multiple phases of the driving journey. This includes focusing on sales channels from start to end-user consumption, optimizing services around user lifestyle.
Additionally, to further encourage loyalty toward DFSK products, the company will host a variety of events designed to foster shared experience with consumers, including events specifically organized for specific models.
