Guoli Auto Posts Record 1st Quarter Sales Figures
Guoli Auto, the Chinese automaker, has announced its January sales figures, marking a significant increase in demand. The company reported total sales of 266,737 vehicles, representing a year-on-year growth rate of 25% and a month-to-month increase of 27%.
New energy vehicle (NEV) sales accounted for a record-breaking 45% share of the total figure, with 121,071 units sold during the month. This represents a year-on-year growth rate of 84% and a monthly gain of 9%. In terms of brand performance, Guoli's Silver River model drove sales figures to their highest point yet, increasing by a staggering 134% compared to the same period last year.
Brand-wise, Guoli brands sold 2,247,18 units in January, led by a 33% increase for its China Star and High-end models. The company also launched its new Cityray vehicle model in Mexico, setting a significant milestone in Guoli's expanding global reach.
Meanwhile, Geely's luxury brand Geely China Star High-end series sales reached 53,813 units in January, accounting for 13% share of total sales during the period. New energy vehicle sales under the Geely brand account for its largest segment to-date with a sales volume representing more than 7/10 of total sales.
In another significant achievement for the manufacturer in January, over 14,500 units were delivered by Luxmeyer’s subsidiary – Yunnan Xianghe auto plant.
