Tesla's New Model Y Hits the Road, With a Focus on Sustainability and Performance

A glimpse of Tesla's new model has been revealed online, generating excitement among enthusiasts. The car appears to build upon the Cybercab concept's design language, while boasting an affordable price tag between 26.35 million yuan to 30.35 million yuan.

Upon first glance, the model Y features a seamless LED light strip running along its entire bodywork, giving it a distinctive look. These lights are also three-layered for improved visibility. However, front big headlights have been relocated to where the foglight once sat. Meanwhile, both side air intakes remain intact.

Moving onto interior design, this latest variant shares similarities with Tesla Model 3. There's no manual gearshift button anymore and the seats ahead now breathe better.

When the focus shifts to rear seat passengers this is what you find-

The electric motor still has unchanged maximum power, but long-term high performance variants make accelerating super fast. Single-motor model maxes at 220kW while dual-motor units are 137/194 kW respectively when it comes to speed time from zero-twenty-six-fifty.

All in all, there's a significant improvement over our last update – the lowest energy consumption is now measured at just eleven point nine kilowatt-hour-per one hundred kilometers. On top of improving noise, the improved spring calibrations make vibrations better for less harsh ride. Most notably longer-range models go up by forty-five kilometers across certain variants while total travel ranges can be as much as 719 kilometers when driven properly and taken advantage.
