BYD Teases New SUV Models: Oceanus 07 EV and Oceanus 05 DM-i

A series of spy shots has been obtained, showcasing a newBYD SUV model, which is speculated to be the Oceanus 06 Electric Vehicle. The images reveal that this car will likely follow the naming convention of the Oceanus series.

According to the naming rule of the Oceanus series, with the Oceanus 07 EV being an older model expected to undergo a facelift, the new SUV may adopt a similar "U"-shaped design for its headlamps. Furthermore, half-hidden door handles are expected to be part of this vehicle's exterior design.

The rear end of this car seems to build upon the Oceanus 05 DM-i in terms of styling cues with visible gel camouflage, yet predicting an ongoing trend toward a through-door tail lamp setup.

From internal aspects, BYD is following its pattern by taking after their oceanic family series. This vehicle will retain four-spoke steering wheels along with a multi-screen layout and retains a digital instrument cluster, suspended panel in the center. The central island may carry electronic gearshift, maintaining consistency throughout this new SUV line-up.
