Haval To Launch Updated BigV DD-i: A Compact yet Premium SUV with Hybrid Powertrain

On February 27th, Haval has confirmed that its updated compact SUV, the new BigV DD-i, will go on sale on February 28th. As a mid-life update, this vehicle boasts upgraded exterior details and features an efficient plug-hybrid powertrain.

For starters, the BigV DD-i now sports brand-new front grille with electric dynamic design language which matches with the spirit of electrifying energy for clean new vehicles. The new design has been integrated with a dual headlamp arrangement, where lower part is merged into duct to create seamless aerodynamics. On the backside, it features a seamless taillamp design as well as stylish vertically-arranged fenders creating visual interest.

Other color variations of this SUV are offered by adding an "too cool" blue which was not present before.

In terms of interior, Haval BigV DD-i gets simple yet modernized console layout. It also comes with a dual touchscreen display setup coupled with physical buttons for intuitive interaction. Overall, it brings a touch of technology without neglecting practicality. Haval BigV has the following body dimensions - Length x width & height = 4620 x 1917 x 1629mm respectively; wheelbase = 2700mm.

Haval BigV DD-i is powered by a pair of a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine as well as a hybrid motor system with plug-in capabilities - capable of delivering maximum power output of 123 KW to generate an exhilarating performance while maintaining electricity usage. Battery has capacity equal to 21.1kWh that will allow the car to go up to 110 kilometers under electric mode only before fuel cells kick in again.
