Tesla Unveils New OTA Update for Model C10, Bringing Enhanced Features and Performance
A new Over-the-Air (OTA) update is rolling out to the Tesla Model C10, a significant upgrade that brings numerous improvements in both hardware and software. The update, which has already begun its deployment, offers 31 brand-new features, including enhanced convenience, advanced driver assistance systems, and improved performance.
The update includes 15 newly introduced functions, such as HPA (Heads-Up Display) stop-and-go parking assist memory, APA (AutoPark Assist) voice-activated parking assist, new smartphone wallpapers and browser integration. Motorists can also expect improvements to their driving experience with features like the enhanced engine starting system for the Enhanced Performance variant, ambient lighting enhancements, and a reworked UI.
In terms of performance optimization, this update includes several key upgrades. These optimizations are aimed at enhancing the overall user experience, improving safety features such as blind-spot monitoring and lane-keep assist functionality, as well as improvements to the software that powers various in-car systems.
Some of these updates targeted at the Enhanced Performance variant include a new cold start feature for better combustion performance, dynamic cruise control enhancements with multiple zones integration by camera-based Lane keep Assist system (LAC), ACC and low-speed corner turning assist, and dynamic ambient lighting.
