Smitten with Power: Xiaomi Yu 7 Spotted in Stunning High-Def, Reaching Heart-Stopping 253km/h - Price Revealed?

Xiaomi Releases More Details on New YU7 SUV

The latest iteration of the Xiaomi YU7 SUV has made its presence known, with close-up shots providing a deeper look at the vehicle's exterior design. Previously reported to be priced between RMB 30,000 and 40,000 (approximately USD 4,200-5,700), this newest model is slated for release during June-July 2025.

Standing tall at 4999mm in length, 1996mm in width, and 1608mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3000mm, the YU7 SUV falls under the category of large SUVs. Its aerodynamic body shape exudes dynamism, while its wind resistance is predicted to be superior.

The front lights are distinct from those seen on the SU7, featuring an integrated air intake and an apparent airflow channel, with daytime running headlights shaped like a cross and flanked by a separator - and even one for LED displays. Additionally, two LEDs adorn the lower side of car body. Furthermore, the new model's front windshield is adorned with a high-resolution active beam scanning windshield and also incorporates laser technology.

A prominent rainbrush lies beneath the windscreen. The doors display sporty lines with hidden door handles that have been omitted altogether for improved safety. On top of which are mounted large wheel rims with Michelin brand tires, while being illuminated by bright green halogen headlights in front grille headlight areas and a series of fog lights located lower down on the dashboard.

Moving onto its tail end, this new vehicle sports transparent taillight panel lenses that seem to give off an even clearer appearance. One can see them with the naked eye and may display their brilliance even better than before! The classic Y-shaped exhaust light bar reappears, with a clear airflow element placed atop that as well.

One could notice two undercarriage vents on either side of the lower rear section. Moreover, behind that we're to find the rear wind deflector for enhanced aerodynamics and two separate cameras mounted above those for higher visibility in driving.

Inside, directionals lie closer together than before. Compared to its older model counterpart the Xiaomi SU7, this is even more accentuated and now comes with a leather-wrapped steering wheel coated by synthetic leather materials that evoke an even sportier feel. Two display buttons remain as the standard feature from the outside and are easily accessible while driving at high speeds.

The center console also contains one or two displays and several buttons too for various functions.

Let there be no doubt about an increased emphasis on the new model's aerodynamics, the air inlet has now been moved further forward to maximize its effectiveness in creating a streamlined driving experience.
