MG Brand to Offer Affordable Electric Cars in Next Year with Half-Fixed Battery Technology
The head of MG's luxury Division, Mr. Zhuj, mentioned on social media that the first new model MG will be launched next year may equip half-fixed batteries, which could be affordable.
Mr. Zhuj also revealed on social media when answering questions from netizens, that a newly launched MG car is likely to come with a built-in half-fixed battery.
Earlier, Upper Group’s Executive Vice President of Commercial Vehicle, Qi Jimin, disclosed that the MG brand aims to double its domestic sales in 2025 and will launch four new cars next year.
2 cars are going to be entirely new models while two will be updated versions of the existing variants. Moreover, Qi revealed that the MG brand is also planning to introduce a DMH plug-in hybrid system in next year.
November 6th saw the official launch of Mz, MG's ES5 model priced from 10.39 yuan onwards and still prioritizes driving control with accessories like XDS directional dynamic control system and rear-wheel traction but regains a more traditional family car design style on exsterior and interior, going back to more conservative aesthetics that cater most buyers' preferences.
