Small Xiaomi Vehicle Officially Launched: A Powerhouse on Wheels
MIUI 2024.2.12
Beijing, China - The highly anticipated MIUI Ultra SU7 car made its official debut on February 4th, with reservations set to open from February 5th onward.
The 2024 model is expected to hit the market in March of next year, boasting a competitive price tag of $8,140 (81.49万元).
Design-wise, the MIUI Ultra SU7 has incorporated an abundance of lightweight materials and aerodynamic features, including 17 carbon fiber components that enhance its downforce by up to 285kg. The exterior design is more aggressive than expected, with complex front lip designs both in the front and rear sections.
An improved suspension system for handling road grip and track performance is complemented by the Bilstein EVO T1 coilovers for a well-balanced ride. This setup, further supported by adjustable springs for 10 different rotations per axle, enhances an ideal balance between driving on pavement and racing tracks.
Upon entering the cabin, one can observe a thoroughly optimized engine compartment for maximum airflow while boasting carbon-ceramic brake rotors coupled with the Bilstein EVO P1 spring brake (up front - six/Back Four), reaching high temperatures of up to 1300 degrees Celsius during operation.
The interior is similarly revamped by adopting an athletic aesthetic, complete with advanced simulation capabilities that echo real movements. The integration of intelligent features in-line with MIUI standards places the focus firmly on this system: utilizing the latest High-Refresh rate MIUI HyperOS alongside a HiSense HiSuite for high-end computing. A fully optimized vehicle package with high-quality electronics showcases MIUi's technical prowess.
The motor aspect of the MIUI Ultra SU7 leaves zero room for debate; a tri-motor powertrain that has two V8s and one V6, generating 1,548 horsepower, a 0-100km/h speed acceleration at 1.98 seconds. Top speed figures will undoubtedly be above 350km/h.
Equipped with an electrical setup that provides over 620km of CLTC driving range, power consumption as low as 16.5kWh/100km, weight is just under 2400 kg; this means there's ample room for power but also emphasizes a practical, efficient engineering approach rather than outright raw horsepower figures alone when discussing capabilities at such scales.
A 93.7kWh battery can support different ranges up to 520-600km and supports rapid charging processes that would allow it complete all charging stages in under an 11-minute span.
The unveiling marks MIUI Ultra SU7’s release from various markets, including China.
