Leaked: Key Battery Life Details for Xiaomi Yu 7 & Hanle Cars, Plus a List of Tax-Free Models

New Renewable Electric Vehicle Categories Launched by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently published a new list of renewable electric vehicle models eligible for tax relief, which has included several notable brands such as Xiaomi, BYD, HanL (an electric car brand from Nissan), XPeng, and Nissan.

According to the ministry's announcement, the following models will be included in the new categories:

Xiaomi YU7

The Xiaomi YU7 will come equipped with two battery options: 96.3kWh and 101.7kWh. The lower-capacity option is expected to provide an pure electric range of approximately:

  • 820km
  • 810km
  • 725km

On the other hand, the higher-capacity option will deliver a pure electric range of around:

  • 760km
  • 750km
  • 670km

BYD TangL

BYD's TangL model has been identified as an eligible vehicle for tax relief. The car is powered by a 100.531kWh battery and boasts the following pure electric ranges:

  • 600km
  • 670km
  • 560km

HanL Electric Vehicle (Nissan)

The Nissan-branded Han_L electric vehicle will be available in two different battery configurations: 83.212kWh and 58kWh. The former is expected to deliver a pure electric range of around 601km, whereas the latter will deliver a range of approximately:

  • 510km
  • 525km
  • 540km

Interestingly, Nissan's HanL model will boast different pure electric ranges based on its battery capacity.

XPeng 007GT

The XPeng brand has identified two battery capacities for its 007GT model: 75kWh and 100.01kWh.

For the lower-capacity option, we expect it to provide a pure electric range of:

  • 650km
  • 590km
  • 585km
  • 520km

On the other hand, the higher-capacity battery module is expected to deliver a range of approximately:

  • 730km
  • 655km
  • 825km
