NIO Deliveres Impressive Sales Figures in First Month of 2025
In a significant boost to its sales, Chinese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer NIO announced its sales figures for the first week of January. According to industry insiders, the company sold over 4,700 units in the third week of January alone, marking a staggering 145.7% year-over-year growth.
On a brand-specific basis, sales data revealed that Landa, a sub-brand within NIO, sold 1,913 units during this period, representing a substantial increase of 46.7%. In contrast, NIO as a whole sold 4,749 units, up by an impressive 145.7% compared to the same time last year.
NIO's cumulative sales over the first three weeks of January reached 13,349 units, more than doubling its pre-quarter sales figures. Notably, it was reported that NIO factories experienced a short-term production adjustment in January, impacting some production capacity, which has since been resolved and production has resumed normal operations.
Looking ahead to the new year, Landa unveiled an attractive promotion offering 0% down payment purchases plus subsidies. Additionally, the brand announced that, starting from January 2nd to February 12th, it would provide a "Free Supercharge" service for users during the Chinese New Year celebrations.
This special offer covers not only NIO's public fast-charging stations along highways but also Landa's private charging docks at service centers nationwide. NIO customers can access this free recharge service by scanning a QR code through the Landa Automobile app, which covers all NIO and Landa cars across various regions and regions of the country.
The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to enhance customer convenience and reduce operating costs, with a focus on delivering convenient services for existing and new users during peak travel periods.
