New Xiaopeng Beta+ Model to be Unveiled in Two Weeks
The latest update from BYD has confirmed that the new Xiaopeng Beta+ model will be released within two weeks, with a mid-life facelift and significant upgrades across its exterior and interior design.
Earlier, leaked images of the new Xiaopeng Beta+ had revealed its official registration documents, showing off a streamlined front and rear design. The current front and rear bumpers have been improved to create sharper lines compared to previous models, giving it a more aggressive look. Additionally, the internal structure of the front large LED lights has also been optimized for better performance.
In terms of interior enhancements, insiders predict that the dashboard will undergo significant adjustments, with particular attention paid to the gearshift area. Going forward, Xiaopeng plans to adopt a center-mounted shift switch, replacing the traditional central console layout currently used by the model.
Powering the new Xiaopeng Beta+, according to the official registration documents, is a drive type named TZ200XSQ electric motor, boasting an output of 150kW. This output remains the same as its predecessor.
Regarding range capabilities, sources indicate that the upgraded Xiaopeng Beta+ will boast improved battery capacity to deliver estimated ranges of approximately 430 miles and 510 miles on each charge.
The new Xiaopeng Beta+, equipped with BYD's proprietary C-electrification (C-chi ride system) technology, named "Shenye" in Chinese, is expected to be standard across its entire range. This advanced tech promises high-speed performance, robust safety features, and other upgrades for enhanced driver convenience.
