New "Little Chaser" Electric Car to Hit Markets on April 15

A new electric car, dubbed the SC01, is set to hit the markets on April 15 as a result of an initial investment from local craftsmen. Expectedly priced within the 30,000 yen mark, its manufacturing production will be handled by Jiangxi Jialing Electric Vehicle Co., Ltd.

The company said that its latest model would have front and rear dual electric motors with a maximum power output of 431 horsepower and weighing approximately 1,300 kg.

According to company representatives, the car is expected to be unveiled under the Xi-Rong brand name or as the Xi-Rong 01.

The electric car has an aerodynamic body composed of pipes arranged in three layers for air intakes along with a frontal design. The vehicle had wheel size set at 18 inches by twin five-spoke rims, which combined together to offer striking sports style and sporty front headlamps along with a lower rear bumper. Moreover the car offers enhanced performance due to its ventilated doors on both sides.

The car also features new body shape with strong side lines with the rear parts featuring an aerodynamic design. Furthermore the rear is equipped by improved exhaust fan design with three-dimensional airflow and rear brake fans, further enhanced aerodynamics.

The electric car’s dimensions are 4106 x1830 x1170mm.

Regarding its performance a front and rear dual motor system offers maximum power output of 320kW, 0-100km/h to accelerate in just 3.9 seconds.The vehicle is equipped with three-phase lithium battery developed by the "中创航" company for extended travel of up to 500km as well as push rod mechanical suspension structure.

The electric car has been designed mainly with safety features and passenger comfort for young people driving.
