China's Latest Hybrid Hit: Meet the Cherry Keen Cheery Cloud T8, Now Available for Pre-Order

Chevrolet Bolt EV Sales Commence on January 11th

GM's China-Specific SUV, the Chevrolet Bolt T8, Has Been Spotted Up For Sale

The highly anticipated Chevrolet Bolt T8 has been spotted in its production form. Measuring up as a modern, compact SUV, the vehicle can be ordered in either five or seven passenger capacity.

In terms of design, it retains most of the aesthetics found within the Bolt family, including an eight-sided black mesh grille. With sleek and robust side mirrors, and a distinct aerodynamic flair on its roofline complemented by chrome accents and an integrated front fog lamp group.

Side profile reveals an engaging waist line that complements the bodywork in terms of visual impact. Rear end features a clean-up approach that is well matched with a sophisticated aerodynamic element added at top – essentially providing that sense of momentum found within the Bolt T9 variant.

Overall, when compared to its predecessor there are some changes in design; these have clearly influenced an enhanced, more modern silhouette that also enhances overall performance.

Key dimensions of the vehicle include:

Exterior:

  • Length: 4730mm
  • Width: 1860mm
  • Height: 1747mm

The new vehicle features numerous key interior improvements including the inclusion of larger central screens. Equipped with both a three-spoke steering wheel, flat and low-set LCD instrument cluster, advanced infotainment technology, as well as adjustable driver seat support options.

This Chevrolet Bolt has a large touchscreen display, accommodating mobile wireless charging in the center console. The middle section houses switchgear that can be adjusted manually. With seating capacity ranging between 5-7 passengers, it offers comfort and versatility to suit a wide variety of needs.

Inside the vehicle we find a modern engine system with a fuel economy-friendly plug in hybrid setup equipped as standard.

Engine output is rated at up to 156 horsepower for now, powered by its internal combustion unit coupled together seamlessly alongside an integrated electric propulsion solution.
