Huawei Announces OTA Upgrade for Multiple Car Models
Several car models from Huawei's subsidiary Whirlpool have started receiving over-the-air (OTA) upgrades, bringing a range of new features and improvements across various systems.
The upgraded car models in question include the AITO M5, Honor i8, Rivolta MTB, High Mountain, Blue Mountain, and others. The upgrade includes updates to the infotainment system, smart key function, in-car display, charging functions, among other enhancements.
For the AITO M5, Rivolta MTB, and Honor i8 models, the OTA update adds features like increased screen brightness and volume control numbers displayed, as well as the addition of wireless hotspot mode and water-resistant mode shortcuts on the quick-access panel. It also includes a new feature to provide real-time route broadcasting during journey.
Meanwhile, for High Mountain/Blue Mountain DHT-PHEV models, the OTA update enhances the smart interaction aspect by introducing features like touchscreen display brightness, increased volume control numbers display, wireless hotspot status bar and hotkey shortcuts, improved voice-activated capabilities. Improved stability of Huawei HiCar's connection and overall user experience is also included.
Furthermore, for the High Mountain/Blue Mountain DHT-PHEV models, an emphasis on smart voice is also focused on such as voice response accuracy of no-effected commands, expanded scope coverage, increased understanding ability and more. Additionally, the update improves the reliability of Huawei HiCar to connect through mobile connection with enhanced link stability.
The smart seating system in new upgrades adds voice-controlled seat adjustment features, including front and back seat seats control, leg rest adjustments etc. for comfort and convenience. Rear third row usage was also optimized. High Mountain series owners can enjoy smooth starting strategy at high speed and a cleaner interface layout.
It's worth noting that, in addition to the above-mentioned models and others being upgraded, High Mountain Executive model already received an last OTA update recently so this is another fresh upgrade.
The updated Blue Mountain DHT-PHEV now takes advantage of remote app control for various car functions while plugged into a charger. It also offers enhanced starting strategy with remote one-key start-up feature that helps during cold winter days and provides additional assistance when starting up in heavy snow. Furthermore, there's improvements on gear shifting to reduce the burden both for the vehicle and passengers due to reduced strain.
Last but not least optimization of High Mountain version was upgraded; battery regeneration is further improved upon.
