Honda and Acura to Unveil New Products in 2025
In recent news, it has been revealed that Honda and its subsidiary brand, Acura, are planning to launch several new products in 2025. This includes a new Prelude model from Honda, as well as a revamped HR-V and CR-V. Acura will also debut two all-new models: the RSX and ADAX, alongside updates to the Integra lineup.
The anticipated Honda Prelude is expected to be a sleek, two-door coupe with a powertrain akin to that of its Civic Si counterpart, featuring a hybrid system combining a 2.0-liter engine with an electric motor. The new HR-V and CR-V, meanwhile, will undergo mid-cycle facelifts with enhanced exterior and interior upgrades. Notably, the upgraded CR-V is speculated to include a TrailSport trim, further emphasizing its off-road capabilities.
Acura's RSX prototype has been already unveiled earlier, returning to the market as an all-electric vehicle (EV), designed positioned at a premium SUV coupe. Based on Honda's 0 series platform, the new model will be powered by Acura's latest Asimo operating system with L3 level of autonomous driving capabilities. In contrast, the ADAX has already revealed itself in September during the Los Angeles Motor Show as a compact luxury SUV; it will run on a single 1.5-liter turbo engine combined with all-wheel drive capability.
Marking this resurgence in innovation represents new frontiers for these brands.
