EAAN UTO Perching Dragon Officially Launched in Guangzhou, China

The small electric vehicle from the Eurasia Group flagships made its debut at the Guangzhou White Cloud International Conference Center on January 6th, marking the official start of pre-orders. Three versions of cars were launched, with a starting price of ¥8.98 million.

The EU-Auto Perching Dragon features a new design aesthetic, with multi-sided lights paired with an enclosed front grille and a large air intake at the bottom. The rear-end similarly features rounded-off corners on the rectangular taillights, giving it a unique style. Six color options are available for consumers to choose from, including sizes: longitudinal 4270×1850mm, width 1850mm, height 1575mm, wheelbase 2750mm. Standard models come equipped with 16-inch alloy wheels, while high-end versions feature 17-inch alloy wheels. Color options include Red Candle, Senna Silver, White Snowflake, Jasmine Pink, Mauve Purple, and Green Jade.

Interior

The interior features a flat center console with round rectangular air vents that create an impression of sophistication. A compact storage compartment is also well-thought-out on the center console. Trim colors are available in three different themes for consumers to choose from.

In terms of equipment, the vehicle will come equipped with a 14.6-inch center screen + 8.8-inch liquid crystal display dashboard instrument, which can also be paired with HiCar, CarLink, and CarPlay systems. Higher-end versions feature features such as 540 degrees all-seeing image, advanced reverse view, and rear seat electric adjustments.

The vehicle is equipped with a cutting-edge AI-based voice assistant, enabling it to perform various voice-based commands, allowing for seamless voice control during driving and air conditioning operation, etc.

Safety Features

The car boasts a one-piece high-strength body design using up to 71% high-strength steel, combined with an automatic emergency braking system (AEB) and automated parking systems. The perching dragon also features dynamic radar cruise control technology for better safety.

Performance

The Perching Dragon comes equipped with a 100-kilowatt electric motor, boasting a top speed of 150 km/h. A full charge takes under 24 minutes to achieve via its 90 kW fast-charging charger. With an estimated range of around 420 kilometers pure-electric driving range (CLTC), and battery capacity of 44.12 kilowatt-hours (kWh).

Competition

The market competition is dominated by two players:比亚迪海豚(Bianday Ocean Leopard) and吉利星愿(Guli Xing Wen) - both relatively aggressive in the mini-pure electric car segment, however, after its debut in October 2021. With Eurasia Autos offering unique design, high practicality and value. And it must be said that in terms of overall performance. But if the market shares is anything to go by.

As a small pure-electric vehicle, EAAN UTO Perching Dragon uses an affectionate path for its design, detailed design with plenty of personal touches.
