Avida 11 Eco/Bi-Turbo Variants Unveiled for Chinese Market
The Avida official website has recently confirmed that the new-generation Avida 11 electric/petrol variant will be available for sale on December 2nd in China. Pre-orders are already open, with three configuration options, priced between 2.99 million and 4.29 million yuan.
Avida promises upgrades primarily limited to subtle design adjustments compared to existing variants. The front fascia is simplified, featuring split LED headlights that create a distinctive front-end feature, along with an illuminated trim under the hood display that shows information in real-time; whereas rear lights have a distinct curved silhouette and include adaptive taillights for better performance and safety.
Inside, the cabin maintains its five-seater layout but introduces more amenities such as large screens - including a 10.25-inch dashboard cluster, a 15.6-inch central controller panel, and an optional 10.25-inch passenger information display, paired with comfortable seating for the front passengers.
Specifications reveal that Avida 11 Eco/Bi-Turbo variant's dimensions are larger compared to its electrified counterpart with overall lengths increasing by 15 millimeters, resulting in a slightly larger footprint while maintaining stability on rough grounds. With enhanced performance metrics from increased efficiency measures made available such as better regenerative braking capabilities, along with added structural reinforcement for improved crashworthiness.
A vital performance boost lies ahead because Avida 11 Eco/Bi-Turbo models are powered by 1.5-liter turbocharged engines in the case of hybrids and either a more advanced all-electric motor paired at perfect parity to an extended high-capacity Nidec骁遥超级充电-混合动力-电动驱动单元 (e-Batt), as mentioned earlier.
While conventional electric variants also support four-wheel drive capabilities, they operate solely on the energy output provided by dual front and rear electric motors designed at optimal levels of efficiency throughout.
