Revolutionizing China's EV Scene: Longan Ruihang's EM60 & EM80 Makes Debut on Feb 13.

Longan Ruihang EV Set to Launch on February 13th

The Longan Ruihang EV, a new generation of electric vehicles from the company, is set to make its official debut on February 13th. The vehicle is positioned as a pure electric van and is expected to feature upgrades in exterior design and battery range.

According to official information, two variants of the new vehicle are planned: EM60 and EM80. While both models share a similar exterior design aesthetic, their size and features will vary.

EM60

Exterior design-wise, both EM60 and EM80 share an identical look. The vehicles feature newly designed closed-front facades that give them a more substantial look. The headlights are shaped as rectangles and have a reflective coating inside; central LED lights are surrounded by an ornamental frame, enhancing the feel of modernity.

The undercarriage of each side has received improved heating systems with round corners to minimize friction. The front bumper is shaped in a manner that offers good air circulation between the battery pack, engine, or motor and prevents overheating. These design elements all together add to its sleek yet elegant look.

EM80

In contrast to the smaller EM60 variant, which comes across as slightly more traditional, the larger EM80 has more distinct features. Despite both variants featuring a new face-lift for improved looks and air circulation, the bigger version has an additional upgrade in terms of materials. It makes use of darker-toned finishes throughout, especially noticeable on wheels that give the vehicle a much more aggressive outlook.

Key statistics include:

  • A generous space of about 5.4 cubic meters designed to serve multiple functionalities.
  • Maximally loaded at approximately one ton or slightly under.
  • Equipped with 185mm diameter tires, equipped with high-quality battery supplies by Nidec.
  • Comes equipped with a motor with maximum power levels reaching as much as 70kW each, paired ideally with batteries from the same brand, backed up for longer than 8 years or up to forty million kilometers under strict assurance conditions.
