New Suzuki E-Vita - Compact SUV Hits 2025 Shelves: A Bold Entry into Electric Mobility

Suzuki Unveils New e-Vitara: Electric Compact SUV Priced for Mass Market

The Suzuki e-Vitara has been unveiled with a set of official images, showcasing its design and specifications. The new electric compact SUV is positioned as the production-ready version of the earlier eVX concept and is expected to go into mass production by 2025.

Exterior Design

Upon closer inspection, the e-Vitara boasts a close-fitting front fascia, with large horizontal headlights embedded in a trapezoidal shape. The LED daytime running lamps (DRLs) adopt an "Y" pattern, while the front airflow intake features dual-layer design and metal-decorated sidesteps.

Side Profile

The e-Vitaras boast massive wheel hubs, with metallic accents and body-colored wheel covers giving a distinctive sporty stance to the vehicle. The rear section of the car has a unique feature — vertically-arranged LED lights in a continuous frame that can be illuminated on each side.

Interior Design

The inside of the e-Vitara features an exclusively-sourced-black interior, optionally available in black/brown combinations. It also showcases modern dual-screen functionality along with steering wheels having flat twin spokes design. The numerous physical buttons for various daily uses and gear shifts have been retained on the dashboard which offers greater convenience to users.

Additionally, a blue colored ambient light has been installed inside the e-Vitaras ensuring an electric ambiance.

Specifications

Mechanically, the new Suzuki SUV will be available with one single front-wheel drive or two four-wheel drive options. The model with single frontend will have performance options of 144 or 174 horsepower. Moreover, it will go for a dual-unit setup on its advanced variant which holds highest of power — 184 units.

There is an exciting and innovative electronic mechanism to address situations in case the car starts sliding while driving by using an electronic differential locking system akin to the type used during low-speed driving scenarios. As an added bonus, it also equips massive batteries of 49kWh or 61kwH which provide ample energy for extended journeys.

These features set Suzuki’s latest e-Vitara electric SUV poised well above other contenders currently offering such options in mass market vehicles, especially when the focus on a more balanced power, speed and control are emphasized.
