Game-Changing All-Electric SUV Debut: The Ultimate Rival to Tesla Model X!

Ideal Motors Launches First-Ever Electric SUV, i8

Ideal Motors has officially unveiled its first-ever electric SUV, the i8. The six-seater SUV boasts a compact design smaller than Model X but with a more performance-focused orientation.

From the official images released by the manufacturer, it can be seen that the vehicle's side profile features a swooping roofline and extended fender flares, giving it a muscular presence on the road. Upon closer inspection, the horizontal lines of the car appear smooth while transitioning seamlessly from the B pillar to the rear end. This gives the overall appearance of a more substantial vehicle in motion.

Key details unveiled show that the Ideal i8 features 21-inch alloy wheels compared to Model X's 20/22 inch variants. Moreover, it is equipped with a liftgate that slides open instead of traditional side sliding door mechanisms and includes an air suspension system designed for optimal ride comfort across varying road conditions.

One notable design difference from Model X is in the front overhang and hood line, which are more compact to maximize passenger cabin space. The front undercarriage is short and deep, giving it ample room inside but predicting that there may not be a trunk compartment available due to the prioritization of passenger comforts.

Underpinning this electric powerhouse is Ideal Motors' dual-motor 4-wheel drive setup, boasting a combined peak power of 400kW. With an impressive battery size of 102.7 kWh and stated CLTC pure electric range of over 710km, enthusiasts can look forward to what promises to be a formidable competitor in the ever-growing EV market.

For now, enthusiasts will need to keep checking back for further updates on Ideal i8 as the manufacturer continues to open up more information about its latest vehicle release.
