Longan Lumin 2025 Upgrades with Two New Versions for Launch on April 18th

Two new versions of the Longan Lumin pure electric microcars are set to hit the market on April 18th, according to an official announcement from Longan Automobile. The upgrades are aimed at enhancing interior aesthetics and equipment.

Positioned as a pure electric microcar, Longan Lumin is currently available with a price range starting at ¥3.79 million (approximately $540 USD) and going up to ¥6.99 million (around $995 USD).

The 2025 model features an enclosed front façade with round headlights and a sloping air intake that creates a rugged silhouette. The rear end retains simplicity, mirroring the forward-facing design cues. Dimensions wise, the car measures 3270/1700/1545mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 1980mm, aligning well within the microcar category.

Interior-wise, Longan Lumin focuses on creating a premium ambiance incorporating refined materials and distinct color palettes accompanied by ornate decorations. The control panel is topped off with a 10.25-inch floating touchscreen display running in dual color scheme, elevating the car's luxurious feel.

Powering these cars is the EPA0 purely electric platform developed by Longan Automobile. The motor outputs range between 41 and 48 horsepower based on power distribution from its battery pack composed of Lithium iron phosphate (磷酸铁锂). Pure electric travel ranges also expand across variants ranging from 130km to 301km under CLTC condition.
