Longan Jing Yuan E07 Sees Praise in C-NCAP Testing
A recent collision test conducted by the Chinese National NCAP (C-NCAP) has rated the Longan Jing Yuan E07 a 5-star safety rating, with an overall score of 83.9%. The vehicle tested is the model 90kWh Pro Smart version of the E07, priced at CNY 22.99 million (approximately USD 3,300).
During this crash test, the E07 demonstrated high protection scores in various categories, including 86.71% for its member protection rating, 73.84% for VRU protection, and 88.78% for active safety. One notable feature of the vehicle was its full marks for human-machine automatic braking capability, ranking it among the top 20% most cars in this test version.
The Longan Jing Yuan E07 falls under the mid-size SUV category and can switch between SUV and PICKUP configurations seamlessly. This new model utilizes the SD-A architecture, marked by SDAN as its brand name. It is available as both enhanced version and pure electric vehicle models with a price range of CNY 19,99 - 31,99 million.
The enhanced E07 models come in single- and dual-electric motor configurations each offering different ranges, with the latter delivering 701km of electric range on a single charge. On the other hand, its non-electrified variants boast continuous ranges up to 651km depending on which electrical propulsion system has been chosen.
