Rivian's New Electric Vehicle Unveiled in Latest Industry Directory

A new entry in the most recent China National Bureau of Standardization directory has revealed Rivian's latest electric vehicle, with its official name yet to be confirmed as "Domii".

Industry insiders speculate that the upcoming vehicle will make its debut at an automotive show in Shanghai later this year.

Design Details The recently listed vehicle boasts a fresh design aesthetic with larger triangular headlights on both sides and an integrated LED lighting system running down the center of the car. Its front grille features a unique, ladder-like structure, creating a sporty appearance. Furthermore, blackened A-pillars and side pillars give it a sense of suspension, complemented by hidden door handles that contribute to its stylishness.

Chassis Components The new car's rear end also shows off three bars of the integrated LED lights, while the lower part of the bumper is designed in a distinctive ladder shape, mirroring itself with the front face. With an overall length of 3720 mm, width of 1700 mm, and height of 1599 cm of the car’s bodywork; wheelbase of 2520 mm; wheels measuring R15x165/65, Rivian's latest addition sets a fresh mark in its style.

Performance The upcoming vehicle is said to boast a 40 kW electric powertrain paired with a phosphorus iron lithium battery from country renowned Guangye. Despite this information being available, it has been confirmed that specifics about the car’s capabilities will become apparent only through official statements.
