Geely Officially Announces the Windy T9 210km Version for Launch on November 18th
The official launch date for the Geely Windy T9 210km version has been set for November 18th. The Windy T9 is a plug-in hybrid SUV that was first unveiled in May of this year, and comes in 12 different trim levels, priced between 12.99 and 16.99 yuan.
With its family-style design, the Windy T9 features sealed-off grill components, giving it an unmistakable new energy feel. Its sloping front end is paired with streamlined side intakes, showcasing the vehicle's sleek profile. The five-seat and seven-seat body styles are available, measuring 4795/1930/1738mm in length, width, and height, respectively.
Inside, the Windy T9 boasts a dual-screen design featuring a 15.6-inch touchscreen that will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 processor and 5G teraflex Gigabit Ethernet. The vehicle also comes equipped with advanced AI-powered voice assistant, panoramic sunroof, seven airbags (with distant-style shock absorbers), advanced vision display, 256-color ambient lighting system, mobile phone charging plug-in, high-definition Head-up Display System, Level II+ autonomous driving features, and Sony 14-Channel surround sound system.
Engineered with a fifth-generation ACTECO 1.5TGDI e-motor combination, the Windy T9 features a hybrid powertrain system delivering maximum output of 115 kW and maximum torque of 220 N·m. At the same time, it has an efficiency rate of 44.5%. The vehicle's single electric motor produces an output of 150 kW, with peak torque of 310 N·m, overall power reaching 265 kW with combined engine and transmission torque of 530 N·m.
With a matching single-clutch DHT transmission gear box, the Windy T9 is capable of accelerating from 0-100 km per hour within just 7.7 seconds. Whether in pure electric, hybrid or gasoline modes, this dynamic driving system can automatically shift according to the scene, achieving a pure battery range of 120 km for the latest model.
