Reason for Recall

Vehicles within the recalled range have been identified to potentially experience a faulty hydraulic pressure electronic unit control module (HECU) within the braking system. In extreme cases, such as an EVCU internal short circuit, the brake engine compartment could catch fire, posing a safety risk.

Correction Measures

Modern Automobile (China) Limited will provide complimentary replacement of insurance box insurance wire with a standard capacity insurance wire to remedy the problem. If subsequent short circuits in the HECU internal cause wiring breakups, the modern automobile (China) limited vehicle will be free for replacing the HECU unit without cost.

To contact relevant car owners regarding appointments and arrangement of inspections, Modern Automobile (China) Limited has established designated workshop agencies with authorization to provide notice.
