GAC Giller 300 Officially Launched: A Compact Fuel-Smart SUV with Experiential Features
The GAC Giller 300, a compact fuel-smart SUV, has officially launched in the market. Featuring an all-new design language and practical characteristics, this vehicle is positioned as a cost-effective alternative to larger crossovers.
A real-time version of the car was showcased at the factory, allowing onlookers to catch a glimpse of the actual design. The top-tier model is priced below 10,000 yuan.
When viewed from a real-world perspective, the GAC Giller 300 retains many similarities with its predecessors, while incorporating distinctive features including elongated LED headlights and a black-out aesthetic throughout. Side skirts featuring more pronounced aggressive styling are also part of this new design iteration.
Measuring 4442x1860x1770mm in length, width, and height respectively, the total wheelbase is 2640mm. A rear luggage rack can be seen installed above the car's roofline, rather than being integrated within a spot for exploration. Furthermore, another hidden storage space has been added to the rear trunk area for added usability.
On the side of the back window a storage compartment was found missing, possibly coming with optional configurations in the future.
The interior boasts larger central displays measuring 14.6 inches screen resolution 1080p1920x and an improved layout allowing more visual appeal and structure in certain sectors such as the middle seat row display.
Available options for color schemes include earthy brown beige hues turquoise blue, light gray charcoal ash.
Inside, this SUV comes outfitted with advanced tech components including an 8.8-inch digital dashboard panel running smoothly along side E02 Chip capable of handling numerous systems and also 14.6 inches mid console display providing superior user experience.
Driven by a one.5L turbocharged D engine providing significant performance capabilities reaching values up to 133kW maximum torque level is 290 Nm.
It combines power with wet-clutch double clutch seven-speed shifter automated manual transmission and front McPherson rear multi-link suspension system suspension for better driving dynamics.
