Guli Group and Renescence Partner to Promote Green Transportation in Harbin
A virtual press conference was held on January 5, 2025, between Guli Group's Jia Huo Technology Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of Guli Group) and Renescence (the leading new energy commercial vehicle group), where Renescence CEO Fan Xianjun delivered a keynote speech. As part of this event, Jia Huo Technology unveiled its electric services fleet in Harbin, aiming to provide green low-carbon transportation options for the city's residents and tourists.
In addition, Guli Group's Jia Huo Technology secured two rounds of investments totaling over $15 billion by 2024, positioning itself as a leading player in the market. Renescence has partnered with Silver River Capital on the first industrial fund focused solely on Jia Huo Technology, with a total size of RMB 20 billion.
Renescence is Guli Group's main arm for expanding its E-mobility ecosystem. Leveraging several years of extensive deployment in the field of e-mobility, Renescence mobilized forces from various sources to quickly set up an entire supply chain. As of December 24, 2024, priority regions and key routes in the country have built 519 Jia Huo fueling stations, anticipating a projected 4000-fueling stations by 2027, making it as convenient to fill the tank as filling with gasoline.
The use of alcohol-hydrogen (or e-alcohol) has great implications for both energy security and the reduction of carbon emissions. As commercial vehicles account for over half of energy consumption in cars and produce a full 56% of all emissions from cars, the impact on CO_{2} emissions will be substantial.
In Mongolia specifically, Jia Huo Technology is currently participating in the design and production of an annual 50-million-ton green alcohol demonstration project, the effect of which could be felt for years to follow: if it was used by the entire nation's 1/2 truck fleet every year, it would mean that RMB 20 billion will be saved, equivalent to the value of 5 Big庆 oil fields.
