U8 Luxury Version OTA 1.9.0 Officially Launched, Bringing New Features and Capabilities
A new update has been rolled out for the U8 luxury version, with the latest Over-The-Air (OTA) version, V1.9.0, officially hitting the markets. This update introduces several exciting new features and capabilities that enhance user experience.
One of the standout new features in this update is the addition of "千里眼" (Long Vision) mode, sentinel mode, and narrow road traffic modes. These new modes were designed to provide drivers with greater control and visibility on the road, whether it's navigating through heavy traffic or dealing with unexpected obstacles.
Another major addition is the ability to plan routes across six more cities in the city navigation feature - Chengdu, Xi'an, Guangzhou, Beijing, Suzhou, and Shanghai. This expanded map coverage allows users to complete a range of tasks such as:
- Red light traffic light control
- Green light traffic light control
- Passing through intersections
- Smart obstacle avoidance
- Lane merging
- Patrol driving
In addition to these features, the new update also introduces several user interfaces enhancements, including a customized version of Gaode Map for better timing and lighting conditions. Specifically:
- Red light timer display
- Yellow light warning indicator
- Start-up signal announcement
Furthermore, this update includes advanced voice recognition capabilities, supporting both Guangzhou dialect and Sichuan dialect for more accurate pronunciation recognition.
The new update also introduces three additional driving modes:
- Rocky terrain mode (for navigating rough terrain)
- Exclusive backdrop mode for the instrument cluster when switching to rock mode
- Welcoming step button feature
Finally, an improved phone system has been added, allowing users to make hands-free phone calls during driving.
