Bentley Mulliner to Debut at Guangzhou Auto Show
Bentley Mulliner, the luxury brand's ultra-limited edition division, is set to unveil its three new models at the upcoming Guangzhou Auto Show. The European-inspired GT and GTC variants of Mulliner, alongside a new Flying Spur-equipped model, will make their global debut on November 15th.
The exterior upgrades focus on adding more premium touches to the already-stunning design of each car, with an emphasis on brushed aluminum accents across various parts of the vehicle. Key highlights include Mulliner-exclusive "float diamond" front grille designs, sportier styling elements such as flared wheels (22-inch or more) paired with bespoke hubcaps and unique rear diffusers.
The headlamps feature sharp-edged and futuristic glassy crystal patterns to enhance visual clarity. Unique design elements can be seen on Flying Spur models like dual-wings and hexagonal air intakes, signifying Bentley's hallmark style.
For an added touch of prestige, Mulliner cars will have options for customized leather seating with a manually stitched finish alongside integrated stitching as per the latest studio’s designs, while also bringing an array of seat finishes including ambient temperature control for all users. New Flying Spur is equipped with the newly unveiled My Bentley Studio App and enjoys wider vistas through expansive sky panes.
Each car will be available in 15 choices of full-grain leather as well as a selection of eleven further hues to customize it according to one’s unique preference, therefore creating distinct personalities among each user.
Mechanically, it is expected that future Mulliner models would follow Bentley's powertrain development path for both efficiency boost and performance enhancement. In this iteration, 4.0T V8 engine featuring an electric motor with the advanced fuel-saving Bentley High Performance Plugs-in- Hybrid system takes center stage on these new entries to Mulliner.
The car utilizes a combination of eight-speed semi-automatic transmission coupled with a further boost in maximum torque due to a powerful 1000 Nm to optimize driver experience.
