Red Flag Brand Unveils P301 Project, First Electric SUV in Over 15 Years of Development

A significant milestone has been achieved by the research and development department at Red Flag's production base. The first validation prototype of their upcoming P301 electric SUV project was successfully assembled and validated within a mere 15 days.

This milestone marks an unprecedented level of efficiency for Red Flag, with the validation prototype being completed in record time. The P301 is expected to be the brand's fastest-to-market electric SUV to date, with an anticipated release planned for May 2026.

The P301 boasts an impressive powertrain lineup, featuring Red Flag's 15TD hybrid system as a potential option. This system will be paired with a cutting-edge M190-150kW solid-state electric motor and the brand-new PP23 battery pack. The M190 engine boasts an efficiency rate of 98.5%, which promises to significantly enhance the vehicle's range.

In terms of design, the P301 is expected to adopt a family-friendly exterior aesthetic reminiscent of Red Flag's existing model lineup, featuring prominent front grille elements such as larger-than-usual front spoilers and distinctive side skirts. The interior is anticipated to feature advanced features such as large-format displays for both driver and passenger consoles.

Among these are significant improvements in ergonomics, including new soft-touch materials used extensively across the cabin. Other notable features include integrated cell phone charging zones, genuine leather seats with electric adjustments, dual rear-seats that can adjust temperature, and a highly-regarded advanced infotainment system that promises to greatly benefit user experience.
