Xiaomi Automobile Factory Now Opens for External Visits

On January 4, Lei Jun, chairman of Xiaomi Corporation, announced on social media that the company's automobile factory is now open for external visits. Interested parties can make appointments through the company's official app.

The visits will be limited to a maximum of 20 groups, with each visit scheduled for every week on Saturday from 14:00 to 17:00 (subject to production schedules). Xiaomi will announce the available time slots one month in advance, and participants will receive notifications by phone. The registrations are expected to open soon.

For reference, the factory is located in Beijing Economic-Technological Development Zone, covering an area of approximately 718,000 square meters. It has been recognized as a demonstration site for industrial tourism in Beijing in 2024.

During the countdown to Christmas on December 31, Lei Jun announced that Xiaomi Automobile delivered over 135,000 vehicles in 2024 and aims to deliver 30,000 more by 2025. Meanwhile, the company has established storefronts in 58 cities across the country, with a total of over 200 stores.
