Chinese Automaker Polesstar and Energy Firm Bp Pulse Unveil Partnership to Boost Charging Network
Polesstar, a Chinese automaker, and energy firm BP Pulse have announced a strategic partnership aimed at creating the most comprehensive charging network in core Chinese cities. The mutually beneficial agreement is expected to significantly enhance charging services for car owners across major urban centers.
As part of this collaboration, both companies will work together to expand their respective charging networks. Polestar's 2000+ charging stations and 10,000+ "gun" (socket) charging points in China are set to be interconnected with BP Pulse's 1,000+ charging stations and 23,000+ "gun" charging points in the country.
To further solidify their partnership, both companies will collaborate on launching pilot projects in several key Chinese economic centers. The joint effort aims to create fast-charging networks that cater to electric vehicles, providing customers with higher connectivity density, better service quality, greater safety and reliability.
Overseas Expansion Plans Although less specific details have been made available about the scope of their plans
Polesstar expects to launch its overseas presence through a network of "station-finding/point-to-point" charging services by 2025. This plan includes developing an overseas fleet service platform, which will enable users to easily locate and use charging stations, making long-distance travel more convenient.
