LC-Z20: China's Latest Electric SUV to Rival Chevrolet Bolt

A low-power version of the LC-Z20 has been spotted by Chinese authorities, showcasing the electric SUV's design and specifications. The new model boasts a consistent exterior design with its higher-powered counterpart, with the only difference being the power parameters.

The LC-Z20 is based on the SEA-Hao architecture and positions itself as a pure-electric tight compact SUV. According to industry estimates, the domestic market price for the vehicle is expected to be around 17-20 million yuan (approximately $2.5 million USD).

In terms of design, the new model features the latest LECHE Next Day design language, with dimensions measuring 4460/1845/1573mm and an axle length of 2755mm. The vehicle's drag coefficient has been reduced to 0.25.

The interior features a premium and sporty atmosphere, emphasizing materials and ambiance. Notable highlights include large upholstery made from sheepskin and ambient lighting strips running throughout the cabin's design. The spacious driver's console showcases a massive infotainment screen applying on the LYNC flyme autos.

Powering this low-speed version of the vehicle is an electric motor with maximum power output standing at 175 kW and utilizing Suqian Xin Electric Battery Phosphorus Iron Lithium Battery, equipped with highest travel speed at 180km/h. With its top-speed counterpart producing a massive 373 Nm, charging takes just 15 minutes for 10-80% charge capacity.
