On November 11, Hyundai, a South Korean automaker, announced its latest SUV model to the public, featuring innovative designs and advanced technology. The Hyundai HL model, previously codenamed AH8, is built on Hyundai's new platform and architecture. With its long-wheelbase SUV design, the HL measures 5126 mm in length and 3088 mm in width.
First Look at HL Exterior
Hyundai has released the exterior renderings of the HL model for the first time. The design concept incorporates elements of a sailing boat (termed "陆地游艇"), with a prominent headlight featuring crystal optics, accompanied by dynamic smart interaction light technology.
Visual Style and Technology
The styling is sleek, powerful, and well-defined, forming an energetic silhouette while showcasing robust proportions. Side-view aesthetics enhance the perception of tech and comfort as pronounced horizontal lines and angular wheels evoke an impressive sense of advanced power and style.
Interior Design
Design-wise, the HL model closely mirrors that of the HT series, with features like the dual and upper flat steering wheel, independent analog gauges & floating touchscreens; it’s expected to adopt a 6-seat structure in upcoming layouts. This will be accompanied by the smart cloud one AI, powered by ADIGO 6.0 seat model.
Powertrain and New Suspension Setup
Powerful and advanced, the Hyundai HL model is poised for electric power with an optional boost hybrid power variant as it also equips the 'Empty floating' digital suspension system and advanced hardware software for precise turnovers, especially during sudden maneuvers.
