New Chevron Yue Guan Shan Hai L9 Spotted with Revised Design and Future Features
February 10th, a set of concept images for the new Chevron Yue Guan Shan Hai L9 has been leaked through various channels. The cars have already been submitted to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) for review and have received positive feedback on its overall appearance.
The new car features an all-new design language with a distinctive ring-like pattern integrated into the lighting system, giving it a more modern look. The rear-end of the car remains relatively unchanged from the previous generation but still carries over the sleek tail-lamp arrangement consistent with the front, creating a sense of balance and symmetry on the vehicle's overall layout.
The leaked images also reveal that the new car is expected to be equipped with some impressive features, including 0-gravity seats, 6.60 kilowatt-hour external battery packs, among others. Given its changes in length compared to its predecessor, which was offered with dimensions of 4862/1925/1784 millimeters and an axle distance of 2850mm, the revised Yue Guan Shan Hai L9 will have a stretched wheelbase at approximately 4911mm.
Under the hood, this latest iteration is powered by a 1.5-liter hybrid engine system that delivers a maximum power output of 156 horsepower and peak torque of 220 Newton-meters when working alongside its electric motor counterpart. The hybrid system combines with a dual-speed DHT automatic transmission for better shifting and performance.
In terms of range, the Yue Guan Shan Hai L9 will be equipped to cover approximately 55 kilometers entirely on electricity before reverting back for more assistance from its powerful motors.
Expected Release Date Not Far
While no official release date has been announced yet, these images do indicate that the car is nearing its official launch window and may see a quick debut in the near period.
