New Haval XR5 Maximum Launches With Minimalist Design
The new Haval XR5 Maximum, a mid-size SUV, is set to go on sale on March 21st. The new vehicle will be equipped with the second-generation Hi4 dual-electric and hybrid system, as well as advanced driver-assistance systems.
A revamped exterior design marks the return of the XR5 Maximum, featuring a sleek and modern front fascia and larger headlights that extend in a connected arrangement. The overall look exudes a high-tech feel, while additional aerodynamic elements further enhance its performance.
The dimensions of the new SUV measure 4,780 x 1,895 x 1,725mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2,810mm, solidifying its position as a mid-size vehicle. The rear lights follow this minimal style language, employing 332 LEDs with 628 nanometers output, combined with diamond-cut lenses for an exclusive look.
Inside the cabin, three colors are available: Celestial White, Canyon Brown, and Deep Black. A minimalist approach is carried over to this interior, featuring a 12.3-inch full-color instrument cluster screen, a 14.6-inch center display screen, as well as an AI Head-up Display (HUD) for easy navigation. The system used in the vehicle is Coffee OS 3.
The new Haval XR5 Maximum will feature advanced technologies such as the Coffee Pilot Plus intelligent driving assistant system, covering a range of scenarios such as urban and highway roads, parking maneuvers, and more. The interior features can further be enhanced by cloud-like seating, with electric controls for both front seat occupants (12-way adjustable) and rear passengers (4-way electric). Heaters are provided for all seats.
In addition to these amenities, the new vehicle also comes equipped with Haval’s Coffee AI Sound 5.1 surround sound system. When it comes to engines, the 1.5-liter units of the Hi4 dual-electric and hybrid system are standard. This powerplant delivers a maximum output of 85 kilowatts.
