Ideal Automobile Returns to Top Spot in China's Monthly Sales Rankings
Ideal Automobile has reclaimed its position at the top of China's monthly sales rankings for the ninth week, with 73,000 vehicles sold. Xiaomi Automobile also made a significant leap up the ranks to claim second place with 68,000 vehicles sold, while Great Wall Automobile took third spot with 67,000 vehicles sold.
In the premium segment, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Audi maintained the top four positions, each selling over 10,000 units per month. Tesla, however, claimed the runner-up spot with 124,000 units sold.
Meanwhile, new energy vehicle (NEV) brands continued to dominate the market, with BYD showing notable growth in its sales performance. The brand sold 624,000 NEVs in a single week, further solidifying its position. Xiaomi Automobile followed closely behind in second place, while Great Wall and Tesla secured third and fourth positions respectively.
