New Energy SUV from Chery Unveiled: The Piago Stone to Hit the Markets in August

A new energy SUV, the Piago Stone, is set to hit the markets in August, offering a unique blend of electric and hybrid capabilities. Priced between 12-16 yuan, this latest addition will be available for overseas markets as well.

The Piago Stone boasts an all-new family design language that combines cutting-edge technology with unmistakable styling cues. The front end is characterized by simple, energy vehicle-inspired design elements, featuring seamless headlamps and C-pillar-mounted LED lights on each side. Unique paint finishing options include "Silver Frost," "Sky Gray," "Eternal Night Black," and "Star White."

Measuring at 2,800mm in length, the Piago Stone is positioned as a mid-size SUV with a focus on practicality. The design extends seamlessly from the front to the rear, complete with LED lighting accents and an embedded chassis with dual skid plates.

Inside, the interior is available in several color options such as White Pearl-like Miu jade, indigo sandstream-like river sandstorm night or lacquer-like crimson epoque. Instead of traditional buttons, touch-sensitive control modules are used throughout the cabin for a more contemporary feel.

To enhance convenience and interaction capabilities, advanced user interfaces include a 5-inch Skylink3.0 intelligent onboard system that can be controlled entirely by voice commands using sophisticated technology for seamless integration with home devices. Advanced voice control features allow users to effortlessly execute multiple commands simultaneously or initiate music playback and temperature regulation.

The Piago Stone's interior space offers additional room due to integrated storage compartments without any buttons, making the driving experience smoother over complex road segments.

To boost safety, the Piago Stone is equipped with an On-Box line control system for accelerated responsiveness during braking. It also includes a suite of vital assistance features such as automatic parking, adaptive cruise control acceleration, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) like low-speed warning and detection of front-side lateral movement, rear cross traffic alerts, active lane departure warning, side collision alert with dynamic turn signal, front collision mitigation with braking or slowing, adaptive emergency braking, blind-spot detection in rear and front view, perimeter alerts by the side mirrors, and forward camera and rear view monitor.
