BYD Hengzi 07: China's Latest Electric SUV for Urban Mobility

The latest electric SUV,BYD HENGZI 07, was unveiled by BYD on March 2nd, marking the entry of this new model in the Chinese market. The vehicle is positioned as a mid-size SUV and boasts plug-in hybrid technology with fifth-generation DM technology.

Exterior Design

The exterior design is notable for its sleek appearance with no middle grille feature, accompanied by E-type front big headlights connected together, having a blacked-out finish. The underside of the LED lights features two intake vents giving it an aggressive outlook. For lower-variety models, pure visual "Teeth God Eye C" scheme will be adopted; while higher-end versions will have Laser radar support and utilise "The Teeth Of God B" scheme to support city navigation.

Dimensions

Dimensions of HENGZI 07 stand with length 4880mm x width 1920 x depth 1750mm, and wheelbase 2820mm. It can be seen that space and usability are given higher consideration compared to exterior dimensions alone.

Vehicle rear deck boasts familiar "Hengyi Family Trenched Style", adopting dark and heavy tone color style for overall aesthetic appearance.

A large-scale deep-colored protrusion with obvious design stands for where the intelligent drone storage is placed, easily recognizable as equipped of Intelligent Drone Mode.
