Automobile Sales in China: February 2025 First Week Sales Figures Released
The Chinese market saw a surge in automobile sales last week, with several brands emerging as top performers.
According to released figures for the first week of February, specifically between February 10th and 16th, Peugeot led the sales charts, followed closely by Geely and Xiaomi. Huawei took third place overall.
A notable increase was observed in Weichay Company's sales, which rose by 87.76% compared to the same period last year. The brand's decision to launch a five-year zero-down payment policy in January appeared to have sparked renewed interest among customers.

Luxury brands also saw significant sales figures. BMW ranked first with 77,000 units sold, followed closely by Mercedes-Benz and Audi, which ranked second and third respectively. On fourth place stood Geely's flagship brand and on fifth place placed BYD.
Special mentions were made for Tesla, Extreme Electric, Askuiyue as well as Rekssa in the list of completed list at the end of last week, adding 20,000-28,000 units each that contributed to its final standing.
