Weyang Introduces All-New High Mountain Series with Enhanced Features
In a recent announcement on its official website, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in China has released details about Weyang's latest high-end MPV model lineup, dubbed as the "High Mountain" series. The new models will boast updated exteriors while retaining much of the existing design.
The newest addition to the lineup is the High Mountain 8, which boasts a sleeker appearance and longer wheelbase than its predecessors. Equipped with cutting-edge technology, it comes bundled with a laser-based radar system and the company's third-generation smart driving system, Coffee Pilot Ultra. This advanced system learns the driver's habits, providing real-time assistance in various environments.

All models in the High Mountain series will be paired with Weyang Hi4 Performance version intelligent four-wheel drive electric mixed technology.

Exterior-wise, despite a relatively minor transformation, the latest generation incorporates large front grille sizes. Side windows display reflective accents that are both aesthetically pleasing and emphasize its rugged charm.

The dimensions reveal that, from a perspective view only: Both new and old versions share identical body length, while variations in tail-end gap can be noticed between every car; The latest one being slightly smaller. From bottom to top, Weyang's long Wheelbase is slightly more extended than usual.

The car will arrive with a built-in laser-based radar system equipped with the latest Coffee Pilot Ultra from Long Cheng smart driving systems, allowing advanced features such as learning of habits at any time to offer the driver the best possible assistance at any moment. As part of its package deals, it also comes bundled in auto-parking technology.
While some details have not been finalised yet, they are expected to make a notable change compared back to previous Weyang models.
The new High Mountain series also features Weyang Hi4 Performance version intelligent four-wheel drive electric mixed technology with systems like mixed+4 Gears combined in front and rear Axle dual motors which bring the system total maximum electricity output of up to 337 kW, while peak torque will be around 644 Nm.
