New Electric Car SC01 Gets Approval from China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology

The SC01, a new electric car produced by Jiangxi Yulong Group Limited's New Energy Automobile Company, has received approval from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The vehicle is equipped with the yi zhurui badge, features a dual-motor four-wheel drive system, and boasts advanced electric powertrain capabilities.

In terms of design, the SC01 retains much of its overall aesthetic identity compared to the official images released earlier, featuring sharp front headlights and a unique three-part hood design. The vehicle also comes equipped with 18-inch five-spoke wheels and yellow turn signals, complete with dual air vents on either side rear of the car. Its youthful appeal stems from its sporty performance and sleek exterior design.

The rear section of the SC01 features wider, thicker bodywork accompanied by round tail lamps and a circular ventilation system around these same lamps to improve aerodynamics. Larger rear diffusers are also equipped at both the front and rear corners, further boosting ground clearance.

The dimensions of the car are 4,106 / 1,830/ 1,170 mm long , wide and high respectively, while its wheelbase measures out at 2,503 mm.

In terms of power, the SC01 is set to utilize a dual-motor configuration sourced from Zhuhai Yurong Electrical Co., Ltd. The motors put out between maximum single unit capacity of 160kW and combined motor output of 320kW. This advanced electric propulsion system delivers outstanding performance.
