Tengsheng N9 Makes Public Debut at 2024 Guangzhou Auto Show

The Tengsheng N9, a new large SUV, made its public debut at the 2024 Guangzhou Auto Show. Designed as the flagship model for the Tengsheng family, the vehicle incorporates the latest design language from the brand and is equipped with intelligent driving technology.

Design and Dimension

The new vehicle boasts a length of over 5.3 meters, featuring a front grille with a centered Tengsheng logo, slim headlights, and intermittent LED running lights on both sides. The front grille is paired with C-style air intakes, which are also equipped with LED lights. A movable air intake at the center is activated, while a deployable fog light underneath provides improved visibility.

Sides

The vehicle features a horizontal design along its entire length, reaching 5.3 meters in total length. A large D-shaped pillar bearing the Tengsheng logo is visible on both sides. The car door panels have an inwardly recessed shape to convey a sense of width, accompanied by thick fender lines and large wheels with multi-spoke styling. Additionally, there's a radar screen on top, as well as electronic rearview mirrors.

Rear

The rear section features a aerodynamic diffuser plate alongside a high-position taillight array. The tail lights are styled in long bars, while the interior lighting arrangement has an intermittent design. A recessed area is present above the license plate holder. There is also a structural silver ornament below the side edge to add depth.

Powertrains

The Tengsheng N9 will be available as both all-electric and plug-in hybrid models for users with different requirements. The electric version has an e-motor output of 710 kilowatts, while the plug-in model has a powertrain capacity of 640 kilowatts complemented by a 2.0 l TDI unit yielding maximum output of 207 horses (152 kilo-watt). Furthermore, the plug-in vehicle is equipped with a high-capacity battery amounting to 46.992 kWH, allowing it travel further from electrical power alone up to 165 kilometer.
