Faraday Future Signs Major Manufacturer Agreement to Drive Development of its FX Series Vehicles
Faraday Future, a leading electric vehicle manufacturer, has announced the signing of a comprehensive development agreement with a major automobile component supplier. The partnership aims to drive the development and production of several vehicle models across both companies.
Under the terms of the agreement, the major manufacturer will provide Faraday Future with critical components for its top-tier vehicles. As part of this collaboration, Faraday Future will focus on developing and manufacturing automotive planning, rulemaking, supply chain management, testing, and execution plans to ensure timely production start-up.
As part of this significant partnership, Faraday Future is set to launch two pre-production models: the FX 5 and FX 6. The FX 5 is expected to be priced in the $20,000-$30,000 range and will feature an electric powertrain option. The FX 6, projected to fall within a $30,000-$50,000 price bracket, will also offer both upgraded and pure-electric options.
Production of these model vehicles is anticipated to begin before the end of 2025, contingent upon sufficient funding support for development and testing efforts.
